Today, misis bought a 61-piece Noritake set on sale at Macy's. The design looks very much like what her family had decades ago. It would be the only link to her childhood, so I figured the set is a must-have.

For what the store has down on their ad, she had already suspected it was made in Sri Lanka though had hoped she would find the word "Japan" on the label--wishful thinking. Discovering the set was made in our homeland surprised her but admirably wasn't a disappointment. "I'd rather it was made in the Philippines and not from Sri Lanka," she said. Even better, I thought.

Sliced bread isn't the only good innovation mankind came up with. There's ice cream, the burger, and porto. Yup, brandy-spiked red wine. Nothing against all you pinot noir afficionados tho' I'd rather drink cabernet, but this just comes down smooth. Yah, it's sweet, but so smooooooth, and it's better sipped from one of those big glasses and not in those tiny cordials. Costco has Graham's Six Grapes for about $12 a bottle. I'm having Noval, $13 at Whole Foods.

Been ending my day at 1:30 AM lately. This is the only time I get to unwind after a whole day of being a stay-at-home dad. I truly look forward to this coming weekend. They say it might rain by then, and I just washed my car yesterday, technically the day before. Man...

This is it, my new blog. I figure it's time. It isn't that I don't like Pitas.com; I do. I like it simple, hence this plain, boring format.
