If nothing else, bits and pieces of whatever we can think of regardless of relevance just so I have something to put up on the web. |

Monday, June 06, 2005 o/~ nothing but Star Wars o/~
We bought and watched all 3 original Star Wars episodes over the weekend. The movies were widescreen-formatted, digitally remastered, and updated unfortunately with those added scenes. I don't remember much from when I first saw them on rented Blockbuster VHS cassettes, but the digital remastering by Lucas et al is trez exceptional, but why those added crap? That Han-Jabba scene in Mos Isley on Ep. IV is understandable; That's salvaging a deleted scene. The rest serve as nothing more than fillers.
Hold on to your VHS and even those LaserDisc copies. I bet they're worth at least 3 folds more than my fifty-dollar set. |
