If nothing else, bits and pieces of whatever we can think of regardless of relevance just so I have something to put up on the web. |

Monday, August 29, 2005 Patio Filipino (El Camino Real, San Bruno)
Misis & I had lunch yesterday afternoon, had humba (HOOM'-ba), lumpia (naturally), steamed rice, some other item, and Diet Coke. Their lumpia was good, same with humba, but our waiter forgot that other item, and I can't recall what it was. No big deal. We figured every new establishment is entitled to a couple of months of misses. Nevertheless, we were impressed considering how picky we are. The only other Filipino eats we would go to are Manila Bay Cuisine at the Serramonte Mall food court and Lechon Manila in Union City if we feel like lechon over rice with some homemade sauce. You can forget everyone else, and don't even bring up Goldilocks and their crappy turo-turo selection. Hopefully, Patio Filipino stays consistent and not incorporate some stupid idea that would ensure failure like a karaoke corner or Heaven forbid a cheesy live band. Off to the food court otherwise.
Comments:
Whats humpa? The only Filipino dish i have ever tried, and I have no idea why, but its always adobo chicken!
